First Bible Dip

I open The art of looking sideways to page 176. There I found a collection of stones. All of these stones were of different shapes and sizes. They were primarilly dark in color. Each of them naturally had lines curves and angles on there surface that were made of a white stone that mixed in with the darker type of stone when each peice was formed.

I've always been interested in stones. I often find myself looking down when I pass by an area with stone. You can often find interesting stones like these or brigtly colored stones with a simple glance over your surrounding. The interesting ones seem to stick out from the normal ones around them Just like the white lines on these stones.

The contrast of the lines on these rocks made me think of something interesting. Could it be possible that an early human saw a stone similar to these and inspired them to draw the first line.
